First Baptist Church of Owensville

Pastor Kevin was born and raised in the bootheel of Missouri.  He and his wife, Fontaine, have three children:  Dustin and wife Lauren, Shelby, and Hope.  They also have two grandaughters, Kyleigh and Amelia.  Bro. Kevin graduated from Arkansas State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He then attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for two years and finished his Masters of Divinity with Rockbridge Seminary in 2016.  He was licensed to ministry in 1993 and ordained in 1997. He served in youth ministry from 1992 to 1997 and since then pastored churches in Southeast Missouri before being called to Owensville in 2012.  Other than preaching, Bro. Kevin loves spending time with his family and going camping and hunting.

Duane was called into the ministry at age 15.  He started his Christian Education at Southwest Baptist University finishing at Missouri Baptist University.  Duane received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1982. Since that time, he has served in ministry positions in North Dakota, Illinois, Georgia and Kansas. While serving in Kansas in 1991-2005, Duane attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri graduating in 1998 with a Master of Church Music. In 2006, Duane joined the staff of First Baptist Church of Owensville as Minister of Music/Worship.  Duane is married to Diana Berry, who graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a degree in Elementary Education.  Duane and Diane have two children: Nathaniel who lives in New York and Micah, his wife Ashley, who live in Kansas and two grandsons, Rylan and  Camden.  Duane enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano and listening to praise music. 

Kyle was born in Blue Springs, MO. He lived in Minnesota for a short 1 ½ years when his family decided to move back to Missouri to a small town called Warsaw. Kyle graduated from Warsaw High School and then attended Southwest Baptist University. Kyle met Anna at SBU and were married his senior year. He graduated with a Bachelors in Christian Education with a concentration in Youth. Kyle and his family have worked in student ministry in areas across Missouri as well as doing student ministry outside of Seattle, Washington. Kyle and Anna moved back to MO to be closer to family and is excited to be partnering with FBC - reaching students in the Owensville area while working along the side of parents. Kyle and Anna have two boys, Gareth and Theo.
