Women's Ministry
President: Jean Knight

The goal of First Baptist Church Women's Ministry is to encourage women in their walk with the Lord, enable them to become all God designed them to be in Christ, and equip them to serve in the world around them.

Through out the year the Women's Ministry is very active with many dynamic ministies;

"Bread of Life"    A ministry to feed those who are in need of meals due to illness or other types of hardships.

"Fill the Pantry"    A collection of non-perishable food items are collect for the local Food Pantry.

"Operation Christmas Child"     A ministry to collect different items needed for children around the world.

"Backpack Program"    School supplies are collected and placed in backpacks for children.

"Back to School Prayer & Luncheon"     A day set up for all staff in the Gasconade R-II School district.

"Remembering the Teachers & Staff"    Periodically sending teachers and staff a little reminder that we are keeping them in our prayers throughout the school year.

"Lifeline Pregnancy Support"    (Baby Bottle Campaign) Money collected giving opportunity for families to have hands-on involvement in a project that will support health, wellness, and relationship education for young people facing unplanned pregnancies.

"Bible Studies"    Weekly Bible studies held throughout the year. http://www.firstbaptistowensville.com/biblestudies

"Fall Conference"    Women's conference which includes  guest speaker, various workshops, testimonies, and musical worship designed to help you in your journey and walk with the Lord. http://www.firstbaptistowensville.com/events

 We  give, serve, pray and go to various missions  locally, other states within the USA, and in the foreign field as well.

"Women's Missionary Union (WMU)"   Meet each month to pray for our missionaries here and abroad. It's a great time to study and learn about our Southern Baptist mission work.

Giving God All the Broken Pieces

Do you feel broken?

Are you carrying around broken pieces of your past?

Is there something that you believe is holding you back from God doing amazing work in your life?

Come join us for An Afternoon of Tea as we learn through scripture that our brokenness is not our identity. God can put our broken pieces back together and use those very things to pave a path to restore faith, elevate hope and deepen our relationship with God.
