ON GOING MINISTRY
80+ Ministry — Reaching out to the elderly is a rewarding ministry. The Women’s Ministry strive to remember those members who are 80 years or older and show our admiration by sending cards, treats, and visits.
Bread of Life — A ministry to feed those who are in need of meals due to illness or other types of hardships.
Provide A Ride — A ministry for members who may need a ride to doctor appointments, etc.
Quilters —"Thursday Morning Quilters/ Laptop Quilt Ministry" —Quilts and laptops are made to give to those who may have lost their house in a disaster, local nursing homes, Veterans’ homes, Agape House, Russell House, Cuba Crisis Pregnancy Center, and anywhere there is a need. Quilts and laptops are also given to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home for use on their campus and to be auctioned at the annual Strawberry Festival. Hand quilting is done on morning with a great time of fellowship and others work at home putting together quilt tops, laptops, sewing bindings on quilts, etc..
Mom’s Day Out/ Mommy & Me—These programs are geared toward the stay-at-home mom of children of all ages. With the idea and goal to help mom add in some "me time" to her busy schedule each week, they gather and visit with other moms while their children have the chance to interact and have fun.
Prayer Chain — We believe in the power of prayer. Our mission is to lift up the prayer needs of others before our faithful and sovereign God.
